well.. i’m one of them… especially when you are really budgeting for your new house… IKEA i would say have what we need with the price that we can afford…. maybe, insyaAllah, if we have extra rezeki.. we’ll move up to Rozel! ahahhaha…..

As usual… our dearly Fren Osmy and Mike will host a CNY dinner at their wonderful crib… eat eat and eat.. different this year, few of the gang dah ada ‘handbag’ extra… kids! 
very prosperous… goes for size oso! ahahahahah… having friends is also a rezeki which everybody should cherish for the rest of their lives… as for us, we love every moment we have with them, good or bad and we are very sure they felt the same… thanks for cherishing this friendship… May it lasts forever…

i have a vision.. a Nawaitu… which is, at least, i want to be able to sew my children school clothes just like my Mak.. i want to be super duper mommy like her… working mom… but still have time to check her children’s school work… still make time to cook for us… sew all our clothes.. kurung, kebaya, blouse, skirt.. you name it… also being a super busy grandmother at 72yrs of age and still sew Armand’s bed cover and stuff.. *phewww* insyaAllah… i’m blessed if i even can do half from what she has done for us… hubby gives me 120% support… *also a critic to my sewing skill… hahaha*
commercial? hmmm.. let’s see how it goes… as of now, this is my hobby… just like Bodyjam… however… i’m so inspired by several bloggers with their creativity and design… DianPelangi is one of them of course… Others in my top list are:

we had fun!
Vietnam roads look like impossible to cross.. heheh… 80% of it, full of motorcyclists… but i can assure you, they will never run you down… and i think their accident rate is lower than ours too.. hehe…
one more thing that amazes me is, their helmet!!! soooo cute!!! *kalo kat msia.. mmg tak lulus helmet camni yaa* also can be bought along the streets.. murah murah jual…
not really a ‘leisure vacation’.. especially when you are traveling with your parents and baby! only valid thing to do.. is shopping! ehehe…

Shopping 2 – An Dong Market
An Dong Market… not as popular as Ben Thanh…. however.. seriously, the cloth material sold here has more variety… and the price varies… really really have to nego… cheaper than Ben Thanh… need to compare it apple to apple, meaning, the one in Ben Thanh might be cheaper but the quality might differs.. cotton alone has different grades… careful ya…
poor daddy… he’s the one who carried Armand all the way while mummy shops! ekekkeke…. Armand, being an angel throughout the journey… very patient… and of course very friendly to all people he sees… locals snap his pictures and be the center of attention where ever he goes.. mummy even used him to bargain for better price.. hahahha… “can can.. for baby.. baby… gud price…”
And if you wanna buy coffee.. An Dong is the place.. Ben Thanh sells double the price!
2nd Halal Restaurant – Bombay
then we ‘tapau’ Chapati for ‘them’ back to the hotel… hehe.. and tetap.. mummy ordered Prata Telur jugak.. erkkk…
3rd Halal Restaurant -Kedai Shamsuddin
Our dinner is at Kedai Shamsuddin at District 10.. very near to District 5, where we stays… Food? hmm.. not so nice… but boley lahhh… best thing about this place, they do delivery to your hotel for an extra Dong20,000 (RM4++). And we ordered for our lunch before we headed back to airport on 25th Oct.
Shopping 3 – Cho Binh Tay (Market)
Look of the place? horrible… ahhaha… i meant it’s such a busy place… and the seller is sooo not friendly… hmmm… wonder why…
oppss… they only do wholesale peeps! not single purchase will be entertained… lantak ko lah… siap kena marah lagi kalo pegang barang kat kedai dia.. mengamuk mak mentua meks!
conclusion… no need to go to this place.. unless you wanna buy at least sekodi kain.. or satu dozen kasut!
4th Halal Restaurant – D’Nyonya Restaurant
Sells Nyonya food.. hmmm… yummy also! and the owner is so friendly.. orang melayu kita of course…
owh owh…. si kecik ni suka laaa kalo sampai time makan.. hishhhh

eheh… as promised… let’s start with the ‘pleasure’ side of the trip first… we went to HCM via MAS on 22nd Oct, flight 5.40pm… arrived at Saigon City at about 7.30pm.. (pada sape yg kurang tau… Saigon adalah nama lama bagi Ho Chi Minh.. time kasih..) Checked in at Arc En Ciel Hotel, at about 30mins drive from airport…

ni gambo dkt website.. melampau lak cantiknya.. takdenya camni… lite2 jek.. 3 stars hotel jek…
hotel is clean, aircond is ‘cold’.. hehe… good enough for us… for USD26 per nite for 2 persons, with breakfast.. it is soooo worth it! kalo korg mampooo… duk la Sheraton.. hehe.. sebelah je Saigon Mosque..
Shopping 1 – Ben Thanh Market
i would say… this is the mostly recommended place to go by most websites and people who’ve been to Vietnam…
it’s just like normal market… all sorts of cloths, clothing, shoes, bags, souvenirs and food product. The ‘tokey-s’ are super friendly but sometimes can be soooo annoyinggggg….. Ayah (dad-in-law) actually screamed at one of them coz she kept pushing him to buy t-shirts at her shop… forcing him to be exact… as for me, i used this excuse…

ahahaha.. it works! the cloth especially cotton, viscose and chiffon are cheap! just plain cheap! average Dong200,000 per set… 200,000 Dong is about RM32 and per set is 4m…
There’s a night market along the roadside of Ben Thanh market at night… but since we are traveling with Armand, PIL is not keen to get him out and about at night time.. so we didn’t go… the locals said, they are selling the same stuff… so, day and night wouldn’t make any difference aite? hehe..
1st Halal Restaurant – Halal Saigon
This is the most famous Muslim Restaurant in Saigon… very pricy… (for Vietnam rate la..) but the food is simply delicious.. me likey!!!
Vietnamese Coffee… auwwww… must try!! even the breakfast coffee at the hotel taste as nice! kalah starbucks okeh!
Our food… Lala Lemongrass Soup, Sayur bunga apa ntah.. sodappp and Roasted Chicken Fishcake.. we ordered their signature Spring Roll as well.. hmm.. rasa healthy sangat.. ahahha..

Xin chào VietNam means Good Morning Vietnam… ehhehe… the only Vietnam words that i know… huhuuuuu…. last weekend… i went to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for 4 days, 3 nights… i brought along hubby, Armand, PIL and SIL…. initially a ‘business’ trip.. became partly holidays… ehhee… thanks for spending time to accompany me to Vietnam! love you alllssssssss………. and Armand soooooooo love travelling around….. and as usual, mummy just bring the camera but no pic snap… ahhahha… jangan mare arrrr… habit uols… susah laaaaaaaa…….. kalau ada pun… dari BB mummy lah… hehhe…

there goes my ‘hit-ant’ in training… i had a good laugh that night… this little munchkin of mine always brings smile to my face and brighten my gloomy days… which i really need it the most right now… maybe that ‘somebody’ has no family to turn to when you’re done at work… he never has that feeling of wanting to run to your family, kiss them and hug them every single day…. and with that feeling and obligations, would somehow change you and makes you a better person… maybe, that’s why his decisions always seem unreasonable and selfish… all is about business.. all is about money… i pity him… Ya Allah, please bless him with hidayah… So that he stops ruining other people’s life just because he thinks it’s the right thing to do..
